Case Studies: Trade Show Marketing Support
Introduction
A large US based label manufacturer was planning a trade show to introduce there new packaging solutions and announce the acquisition of a European manufacturer.
Background
They would like to draw attention and potential customer to their stand at the Interpack show in Germany.
Alternatives
We proposed a few different solutions to do some online and offline marketing actions to draw attention in the European market (as their focus was mainly Europe). We first reviewed the trade paid placement options and compared it with alternatives solutions like Twitter, LinkedIn and Xing (German Business page).
Proposed Solution
Finally, we proposed a campaign on Xing for the German, Austrian and Swiss market as the show was in Germany and English campaign for the rest of Europe which would fit the given budget. We selected the specific target groups and make tailored ads to match the groups interest. In the case it would be automation, medical and Food and Beverages.
Recommendations
We created a campaign based the “Event” and the target was to create awareness and within our target group that our customer was actual introducing a new company and product line on the show to increase the number of visitors to the booth. Eventual we successfully set a number of meeting on the show with top level managers who with buying and decision power.
